"Cormac Brown" is my pen name. I'm an up-and-slumming writer in the city of Saint Francis and I'm following in the footsteps of Hammett...minus the TB and working for the Pinkerton Agency. A couple of stories that I've stiched and stapled together, can be found here.
Until today, that was my second favorite Groucho line. The first of course was "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."
This was allegedly in reference to a country club that turned down his application for a membership, because some of the people on the acceptance committee were anti-Semites. When his television show became a hit, they tried to invite him back and that was his response.

Editor JDC,
"Already been there and didn't like it."
Your essay is on my to-read list. I have to get two stories done before my B-day and free up my distracted mind.
Get back to work - both of you!
That's one of my favourite Groucho quotes, actually I'll crown it my favourite as I don't know that many.

That's not just my favorite Groucho quote, but one of my all time favorite quotes. :)
Princess,
What amazes me is that everyone seems to identify it, even those who have it entirely too easy in life.
