Quoth The Lovecraft

"At night, when the objective world has slunk back into its cavern and left dreamers to their own, there come inspirations and capabilities impossible at any less magical and quiet hour. No one knows whether or not he is a writer unless he has tried writing at night."

– H.P. Lovecraft, from the Creative Screenwriting Weekly Newsletter

Yup, love that quote. Also, early in the morning between 5 and 7 before the brain wakes up.

Ms. Smack,

Welcome to this dusty corner of the web and it is a good one.

Katie-lah,

A Sheynem dank.

Gifted,

That time of day is my brain's last gasp as that just before my bedtime, six days a week.

Out of the Lovecraft writing competition - I SO don't meet the criteria. The only thing my nights are for is getting my requisite amount of sleep.

I can't even begin to imagine facing a blank screen in any magical nor quiet hour of the evening.

The humanity!

Baroness,

You should try it. Here I am, conjouring magic and posting. It does wonders for everything but the sleep cycle.
