The following quotes came from The Creative Screenwriting Weekly Newsletter...
"The role of the writer is not to say what we all can say, but we are unable to say."
- Anais Nin
"Every story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end...but not necessarily in that order."
- Jean-Luc Godard
"The writer who possesses the creative gift owns something of which he is not always master - something that at times strangely wills and works for itself."

Another fine list, Cormac. I particularly like the one by Anais Nin.
David,
And the Anais quote exactly what writers like you and me do, right?
Cormac,
.....hopefully. :-)
If I've got six minutes, I'm demanding another shot of morphine.
Randal,
I was going to solidify my legacy
(Oh-oh)
But what I craved was more morphine, see?
(La da da da da)
Now no one knows about my writing and I know why
(Why man?)
Because I got high, because I got high, because I got high
I always love these.
Cormac, I have been a fair weather FFF friend and would have left this comment over there, but the commenting is closed. Wanted to thank you immensely for all you did for that and hope my not being able to keep up with it wasn't one of the disappointments to which you referred.
Doubt I can join in on the new one right now, but want to keep up with it. I like the idea of it traveling into the responsibility of different folks, so it's not all on one person. Much love, C.
Freida,
I'm sorry that I had to shut down the commenting because it was getting ugly all the way around, and that I can't turn it back on because someone still pops back in because he wants to lob more grenades. I'm glad that you did participate in it, you made it very special, and you were one of the reasons why I tried to ressurect it the first place.
You certainly were not one of my disappointments, and I certainly understand how busy you are. I would still appreciate it though, if you could drop by and give some feedback to the new incarnation, time permitting.
Much love back and take care,
K
