Question III...

Maybe this is the old fogey in me talking, but why is an "afterparty" necessary?

What? Seriously, I lead the clean life now, but back in the day, I'd hit the club and then we'd all go out to eat...whether I had to work the next day or not. That was it. That didn't mean that we didn't see the sun come up, it just meant that we didn't donate a small fortune at another club, to do so.

If you're at a club and you waited ten minutes before last call to get your dance on, or to try and get that all important phone number, regroup for another day. The chances of you getting that number at another 125 decibel club aren't going to be any higher, and the chances of your dancing improving at 2:30 AM are even lower than getting those digits.

But let's go back to the highs and the lows...

If you couldn't get enough partying in at the last stop...

...Do you think that anything good will come from getting even more lit, Sugar T*ts?

Uh, then again, I sip alcohol once every six weeks, and I'm starting to look like James Brown did in this picture. No, seriously, the hair and my beard is now more salt than pepper.

All the above pics are from Uncoached.com, where they have even better pics than the above.

It's hard to make Beckham look bad, but boy, mission accomplished.

And Posh Spice has become Scary Spice.

Honestly, these pics are so seedy, there's nothing clever I could say that would top them. Leave ugly enough alone.

I disagree. The afterparty is essential. The afterparty is full of possibility.

"I sip alcohol once every six weeks" That might explain the gray hair Cormac. You just need more alcoholidays.

I always thought if you needed an afterparty, you weren't trying hard enough at the party.

But then, my crowd had a saying way back in the day: If you didn't get arrested, you didn't have fun.

I'm with Doc, you have too much blood in your alcohol supply.

Pyzahn,

"And Posh Spice has become Scary Spice."

Ha-hah! Yeah, those pics pretty much speak for themselves.

Bubs,

Now, see, you're the type of guy who gets the party right the first time, why would you want to move it to another location?

Doc,

Working the graveyard shift puts a crimp in things and I'd be screwed, job-wise if there were an accident because I had a beer with dinner. My boss's boss can't wait to throw me under the bus.

Corey,

"I always thought if you needed an afterparty, you weren't trying hard enough at the party."

Exactly...

"But then, my crowd had a saying way back in the day: If you didn't get arrested, you didn't have fun."

Uh, in the surburb that I was living during my wilder days, it wasn't a good idea for someone like me to get arrested and I'll leave it at that.

Sky Dad,

"I'm with Doc, you have too much blood in your alcohol supply."

I'll bet that this will be the only thing that everyone that comes here will agree on.

Posh spice is a cyborg. End of story.

Gifted,

Just like that bad Jean Claude Van Clamm movie? Wow, suddenly it all makes sense...

I was thinking she looks more alien than cyborg, but definitely, um, a new category beyond exquisite or exotic. Yeah, alien works.

Afterparties are for those who couldn't get the job done during the actual party. And those on speed.

Creepy,

I could easily see that. Like "Species," she turns into some Geiger-designed alien...at least I hope not for the sake of the club that Becks is currently playing with (isn't it AC Milan?).
