The Great Works of Literature, As Told By Twitter

The Telegraph UK has an article on how Tim Collins has broken down the works of some the greats into Twitter-sized pieces. For example-

Pride and Prejudice
janeaustin: Woman meets man called Darcy who seems horrible. He turns out to be nice really. They get together

Great Expectations
charlesdickens: Orphan given £££ by secret follower. He thinks it’s @misshavisham but it turns out to be @magwitch

Take a gander at the Telegraph article, and the book.

cbrown: BTW, this is just midweek filler. Because if you know me, you know that I'm anti-Twitter

Cormac Writes: Gangbuster crime fiction co-mingled with snarky commentary and peppered by a dash of wry humor.

Ahh, Twitter ain't so bad.

You see, this is what Twitter is doing to literature. They do Homer as well

PS I love it.

Gifted,

By all means, please write a column about it, I'm sure Mr. Collins would enjoy the pub.
