Becker and Fagen got it wrong, Katie didn't lie, she merely changed blogging engines.
No, you're still not listening, it was Elvis that left the building, Katie is still here.
Now everything you wanted to know about Farmhouse editor, author extraordinaire, fighter of evil, and my best online for forever, Katie Schwartz, is at a new blogging address at http://katieschwartz.wordpress.com. That's http://katieschwartz.wordpress.com/, please make a note of it.
"Cormac Brown" is my pen name. I'm an up-and-slumming writer in the city of Saint Francis and I'm following in the footsteps of Hammett...minus the TB and working for the Pinkerton Agency. A couple of stories that I've stiched and stapled together, can be found here.

Non-ficton With Bubs
The two books that I buy without except every year, regardless of the selected authors, are The Best American Mystery Stories (B.A.M.S) and The Best American Crime Reporting (B.A.C.R.) The latter is an anthology of crime and mystery-related articles from every magazine in America.
Well, lo and behold, there is a writer in that Sprawling Ramshackle Compound, and his name is Joe O'Sullivan. His writing debut is in Farmhouse Magazine and the title of it is "My Day With Antonia." He gives B.A.C.R. a run for the money and true crime never read so good...or so funny.
Pssst, Katie Schwartz has an eye for talent.

How Are You Going To Keep Them Down On The Farm?
There was an old World War I saying, "how are you going to keep them down on the farm, when they've seen Paris?" Well, you add a little Katie Schwartz and they'll do a 180° right on back. Not only has Katie interviewed Farmhouse House Magazine's editor Mike Dell'Aquila on her blog, she also has an essay called "My Legs Are Closed For Business," in "The Best of Farmhouse Magazine" premiering at newstands today!
